‘Shark Tank’ video: Can Beer Blizzard score an avalanche of sales?

Shark Tank -Friday night’s new episode of “Shark Tank” is going to feature a variety of products, but none are as ridiculous as Beer Blizzard.

As you can see in the sneak peek below (first posted by Forbes), this company has a very simple vision: Keeping beer cold. That’s something that they have executed using what is a pretty sharp, funny advertising campaign that really hypes up the functionality of the product. They’ve got a really good name that is catchy and effective, and their style is great for those sort of uber-masculine people who want to come up with a way to take their beer with them without it getting cold.

What may be the most impressive in the end to the Sharks here is the business side of things. Despite the sort of “bro” atmosphere of the pitch, they raised well more than their needed amount of funds on Kickstarter, and they’ve also had very strong sales and a great net profit so far. These guys know what they’re doing! They’ve been smart enough to take advantage of the opportunities given to them, and they’ve marketed well. Mark Cuban seems to be particularly impressed.

If we were to guess at the moment, we’d say that the odds are particularly high that Beer Blizzard leaves the Tank with a deal, given that they have to know that this will only help them prepare for a surge of sales. Also, we think that there are other products that they could come up with to turn this into a company quickly.
