Is ‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 18 new tonight? More on key Grover story

Hawaii -It’s been a little bit of an off-and-on pattern when it comes to CBS airing episodes of “Hawaii Five-0” as of late. We were off for a while, we were on this past week, and we’re now getting ready to be off once more. There is no new episode on Friday night thanks to the NCAA Tournament, and as a matter of fact, there will not be another installment that airs at all until we get around to Friday, April 1.

We’ve already talked a little bit about the first episode back after hiatus, but if you missed it, let’s just say that it could involve Danny having to work on a theft case while his kids are in tow. After for the April 8 episode (entitled “Malama ka Po’e” a.k.a. “Care For One’s People”), we’ve got the just-released synopsis for that below:

“A case from 15 years ago forces Grover to take his family on the run when a dangerous mob boss tracks him down to seek revenge.”

Basically, we imagine that this is going to be a particularly emotional hour for the show, and one that does raise some questions in regards to whether or not someone like Grover or his family will survive. It is almost reminiscent of the Kono episode last year where she became somewhat adrift; we spent a lot of time building up to it extremely worried as to her future, but the great news was that when the dust settled, she was ultimately okay and there was really not too much to worry about at all.
