‘Supernatural’ season 11 spoilers: Could Lucifer really return to Heaven?

Supernatural -

We’ll give “Supernatural” credit for one thing above everything else at the moment: Committing to this Lucifer storyline with Castiel like nobody’s business. Who knew that the photo above would eventually in a way turn into Castiel becoming a vessel for the character, or that he would continue to be a force to be reckoned with as we started to get closer to the end of the season? We’re sure that for Misha Collins he probably welcomes the opportunity to do a few different things, but as a fan it gives us a chance to see a familiar character in a new body potentially wreck a little bit of havoc, as well.

Ultimately, it certainly seems like you could be seeing quite a bit of this in the upcoming April 6 installment entitled “Hell’s Angel,” at least judging from the official CW synopsis below:

“Lucifer (Misha Collins) takes a trip home and tries to assert himself into Heaven. Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) he has a way to take down Amara (guest star Emily Swallow).”

Will we see the end of either Lucifer or Amara in this episode? We’d ultimately be rather surprised, given that there are still a few more episodes coming up following this one, and therefore some more opportunities to see some twists and turns along the way. Of course, there’ll probably be at least one or two standalone episodes mixed in there at some point, given that they are such a huge part of the fabric of the show at this point.
