Is ‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 19 new tonight? Return date and more

With the NCAA Tournament starting to officially heat up, you can expect the CBS schedule in turn to start to get a little bit wonky. As a result of this, there is no new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” airing on Thursday night, but we do at least have more confirmation right now that the show is returning on March 31.

So what can you expect in that episode? Judging from some information that came out at PaleyFest this week, we’re going to see a story revolving around some sort of Sheldon secret coming out, which always is going to be fun given that this is someone we generally consider to be an open book about most things. If he is being hush-hush, you really do have to imagine that something significant is up.

Meanwhile, this episode will also feature Leonard and Howard attempting to pull one over on Howard and Bernadette, but let’s just say that something happens that throws a wrench in some of their plans.

We imagine that the big story at the moment is still the casting of Judd Hirsch as Leonard’s father, but there is no news at the moment regarding just when we are going to see that appearance take place on the show. Hopefully we’ll get some more information about that, and some other stories coming up this season, in the near future. There are still six more episodes this season, and that is a good bit of stuff to look forward to.
