‘NCIS,’ ‘Blue Bloods,’ ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ ‘Survivor,’ and other finale dates announced by CBS
There’s no longer any need to wait to learn a thing or two more about when some of your favorite CBS shows are coming to a close this season. The network has just announced the entirety of their finale dates, and they should give you a good chance to start marking them down on their calendar in plenty of time.
Note that unless otherwise stated, all finales are airing on their typical night at their typical time (listed here in Eastern).
Thursday, March 31
8:30 – “Life in Pieces” (one-hour finale).
Monday, April 18
8:00 – “Supergirl.”
Monday, April 25
9:00 – “Scorpion.” Given how many episodes of the show there were this season, we’re surprised that it is ending so early.
Tuesday, April 26
10:00 – “Limitless.”
Monday, May 2
10:00 – “NCIS: Los Angeles.”
Wednesday, May 4
9:00 – “Criminal Minds.”
Friday, May 6
10:00 – “Blue Bloods.”
Sunday, May 8
8:00 – “Madam Secretary.”
9:00 – “The Good Wife” (series finale).
10:00 – “Elementary” (which is now en route to this timeslot).
Thursday, May 12
8:00 – “The Big Bang Theory.”
9:30 – “2 Broke Girls.”
Friday, May 13
8:00 – “The Amazing Race.”
9:00 – “Hawaii Five-0” (two-hour finale).
Monday, May 16
8:00 – “Mike & Molly” series finale.
Tuesday, May 17
8:00 – “NCIS” (last episode featuring Michael Weatherly).
9:00 – “NCIS: New Orleans.”
Wednesday, May 18
8:00 – “Survivor: Kaoh Rong” (two-hour finale followed by reunion show).
Thursday, May 19
9:00 – “Mom.”
Monday, May 23
9:00 – “The Odd Couple” (one hour).
Wednesday, May 25
10:00 – “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” (two hours).
Tuesday, June 21
10:00 – “Person of Interest”.
Thursday, June 23
10:00 – “Rush Hour” (premiering on March 31).
Overall, it’s a fairly predictable schedule, though it is interesting to see it all so scaled out. Clearly CBS is trying this year to use existing shows to help kick off their spring / summer lineup. It’s an interesting choice, and we’ll see how that works.
