‘Empire’ season 2 spoilers: Rhonda reveal coming over final episodes

For those of you still wonder who is responsible for what happened to Rhonda at the end of the first half of “Empire” season 2, we come bearing some news: Answers are coming! You’re just going to have to wait for at least a little while in order to see them.

Speaking to TVLine, Kaitlin Doubleday makes it clear that you will see a little bit of resolution in regards to this long-standing mystery by the time we make it to the end of this season:

“She realizes who pushed her and… she gets to confront [him/her] in a very dynamic, scary, insane, crazy way … I think the audience [will be] waiting for that confrontation for all eight episodes.”

As for who the responsible party is, that’s something that is still really hard to say thanks to the wide array of potential suspects who are out there. It’s likely that the guilty party is someone we’ve already met, but at the same exact time we also have to consider the possibility that it is someone who we are going to meet in the final episodes who has some sort of connection to Rhonda’s past or wants to hurt the Lyon family in some way.

Also, we feel like learning about both her health and the health of her baby are the top priorities at the moment; these are the things that really should be focused on more so than anything else. We’ll get to see a little more of all of this when the show returns on Wednesday, March 30.
