‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2 promo teases new zombie violence

The second season of “Fear the Walking Dead” is going to be premiering on AMC come Sunday, April 10, and the more that we are finding out about it, the more and more it becomes clear that it is going to be extremely hard for any person out there to survive.

In the video below (via Entertainment Weekly), you can see a little bit more evidences that getting onto Strand’s ship really is not having a significant impact on the safety of many of these people. Instead, it mostly just serves as a metaphorical vessel to bringing in a variety of other different stories. There will be politics that comes with being out in the water, just as there will be other potential safe havens to call home.

At the core of the show is probably a question that is somewhat similar to the one that “The Walking Dead” asks itself: Is it possible for these people to live in a world where they can find a safe haven, somewhere untouched by the apocalypse? In our head, we like to think that there are these little places here and there. However, it wouldn’t really be altogether interesting in order to watch these sort of places where people just try to go on living in reasonably-normal fashion, at least compared to Travis’ family or what’s going on with Rick Grimes.

Hopefully, we’ll have some more specific previews for the new season soon. Be on the lookout for ’em!
