‘Billions’ episode 9 preview: Could a disappearance change everything?
We are starting to get near the end of “Billions” this season, and as Chuck Rhoades gets closer and closer to seemingly getting what he wants, some unexpected complications are going to pop in and figure out a way to mess things up.
Basically, a disappearance is going to be at the core of next week’s new episode, and given how this person is an informant, let’s just say that they are the sort of person you really want to be out there in the wind? The longer that this happens, and the longer that both parties could feel some sort of pain as a result of this.
The synopsis below gives you at least a tiny bit more information in regards to what is coming up next, at least when it comes to how this vanishing impacts both parties:
“A sudden and mysterious disappearance sends both Axe and Chuck spinning.”
Here’s where things start to be a little more complicated for us: There are only a few more episodes left on the show this season, and as a result of that, we’ve got a wide array of questions as to how this can end. Is there a way, for example, for there to feel like there is some payoff this season that does not involve Rhoades failing or Axe getting arrested? Is there some way to keep the game of cat-and-mouse going? We’re just going to have to figure out an answer to that over time.
