‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 14 preview: Story for Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln in ‘Twice As Far’

twdTonight, “The Walking Dead” was for the most part all about a hostage situation, and we have to be honest: It moved slowly, and it took us a long time before we started to really get invested.

Will that change over the course of the next installment, entitled “Twice As Far”? We hope so, since the last thing we want to do is be in another holding pattern like that before an inevitable escape. Before we analyze the promo in a little bit, let’s start things off with the TV Guide synopsis that hints at (big shocker) some supply runs that are going to be coming up:

“Two different groups leave Alexandria on supply runs. While both are concerned with the future of the community, immediate danger will derail them.”

Moving forward into this episode, one of the largest questions we have is simply going to be if Carol is going to be able to recover psychologically from what she went through on the show Sunday night. The good news is that she and Maggie made it through their hostage situation alive. Unfortunately for her, the bad news is that she had to kill so many to get to that point. Sure, it was a survival-of-the-fittest moment, but at the same time that leaves a mark on you. Even when you are someone like Carol who has been through so much, these sort of things do still find a way to stick with you.
