‘Quantico’ spoilers: More than death lies ahead
There is a new episode of “Quantico” coming to ABC on Sunday night, and while we know that this one is going to be certainly intense for the Natalie character in particular, this is really just going to scratch the surface of everything we’re going to see as a whole in the second half of the season. There are some dangerous and dramatic times ahead, and at times you could even get choked up while watching it … at least if the showrunner has his way.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly on the subject of what is going to be coming up, executive producer Josh Safran has the following to say:
“Episode 14 is incredibly intense and emotional … You watch a show, you’re invested in the characters, you’ve talked about it for months, but when you watch it, you’re not moved, because you know everything that’s going to happen, but myself and the writers were all moved. Episode 14 is emotional, and 15 and 16 are also very moving. It’s not a different show, but it is a deeper show.”
This is a show that does have that challenge right now of needing to find more and more ways to continually surprise people, given that its ratings are not necessarily stellar; while it has already received a season 2 renewal, you have to keep people interested so that this season will get off the ground and deliver big ratings in its own right. It’s something that we presume will be in focus for the remainder of this season, which should run until May.
