‘Talking Dead’ spoilers: Melissa McBride, Paul Feig, mystery guest join Chris Hardwick

talkingFor any of you out there who are either Carol or “Ghostbusters” fans, there are going to be some elements to Sunday night’s new “Talking Dead” episode that you are going to very much enjoy.

Let’s begin here with none other than Melissa McBride, who you already know is going to be a welcome addition to the show. She’s funny, she’s interesting, and as far as timing goes, we know that Sunday’s episode of “The Walking Dead” is going to be huge for the Carol character. She and Maggie have been captured by some of the Saviors, and this could end up being a short stepping stone that eventually brings us to the arrival of Negan, otherwise known as one of the most-destructive forces in the entire series.

Meanwhile, Feig is merely an easy person to get behind just because of his body of work. While he’s done great movies like “Spy” and the aforementioned reboot, he also has directed many episodes of some of our favorite shows, including “The Office” (he directed the departure episode for Steve Carell) and also “Arrested Development.”

Should you be worried about the mystery guest? Host Chris Hardwick has done a good job over time inserting a little bit of ambiguity here on this subject, saying that having a mystery guest doesn’t mean that said person is going to die. We’re assuming that another character will be killed off this season, but there is no guarantee seemingly that it will be in this episode.
