‘Saturday Night Live’ music: Ariana Grande performs ‘Dangerous Woman,’ ‘Be Alright’

SNL -Tonight is a big night for Ariana Grande on “Saturday Night Live.” At the time in which we’re writing this article, the singer / “Scream Queens” actress is doing a rather great job as a host on the show bringing comedy. To go along with that, she is also the musical guest for the night.

So how did she do during her first performance? We’d say that, for the most part, this was pretty strong. We’re not the biggest Grande fan, but at the same time there’s no concession when it comes to her singing voice. She’s super-talented in that regard. This song was “Dangerous Woman,” a song with a fairly catchy chorus. She hit all of the notes, and we like that she had a live band not only on stage, but visible. It wasn’t all about her as a result, and it didn’t come across as hokey or attention-seeking.

This wasn’t the only time that Grande sang during the show; you can read more about her first time during the monologue over here; this was the first time she did so in a serious capacity.

We’ll have more on her second song a little bit later in the night, so be sure to come back soon for a further take on that!

Update: From our research this second song is entitled “Be Alright,” and it’s a brand-new song that there is not too much known about right now. It was more upbeat than the first one, and once again we don’t think there’s too much to complain about here unless you’re just not a fan of her music.
