‘Billions’ episode 8 preview: Monitoring potential moles

There is a new episode of “Billions” coming to Showtime on Sunday night, and based on everything we’re seeing / hearing about at the moment, it appears that almost everyone is going to be driven up the wall thanks to one thing: Mole paranoia. There will be a massive fear that someone is going to come in and blow up the whole operation for either Rhoades or Alexrod, and they want to do what they can to mitigate that.

With this article, we want to give you a little insight into what the two are going to do, and how they are going to react, to such a situation.

Rhoades – For Chuck, the big test is going to be mostly figuring out if he can really handle some of the chaos that is unfolding around him without him being the figurehead. There’s a lot of it happening across the board, and while he claims that he is taking more of a back seat now to avoid some potential conflicts from Wendy, who knows if that is actually going to be the case? It’s ultimately just something that we’re going to have to figure out over the course of the hour … but it certainly seems like for now that he’s still all-in on taking Axe down. He’s just doing it behind the scenes.

Axe – While you can expect to see Chuck try to handle mole suspicion in more of an even-keeled way, Axe is going to completely lose his you-know what in this episode when he thinks that people at Axe Capital are working against him. Expect to see him more unhinged than ever before.
