‘Supergirl’ episode 16 video: Kara’s acting a little … different

On Monday night’s new episode of “Supergirl,” everything on the surface may appear okay for our hero otherwise known as Kara Zor-El. Cat Grant will be singing her praises on “The Talk,” she’ll be serving as a hero to the point of National City, and everyone will be cheering her on.

However, by the end of the episode everyone may end up fearing her instead. At some point over the course of “Falling” the character becomes exposed to red kryptonite, which messes with her DNA and basically turns her entire sense of right and wrong on its head. Therefore, she then goes from being a hero to the possible villain.

While she has not broken completely bad in the sneak peek below from this episode, this is definitely an indication that she is on her way. She more or less challenges the latest escapee to a battle without even bothering to hear his story, and then more or less clobbers him. She doesn’t kill him, but this is clearly a sign that her behavior is starting to change. The question here is just how quickly it will be before the other team members notice, and if they can turn things around before it is too late.

After all, we imagine that the endgame here if Supergirl is not stopped is that National City could be in ruins. That’s not exactly the desired outcome for anyone, is it? We’ll be back soon enough with another sneak peek, so be on the lookout for that.
