’24: Legacy’ spoilers: ‘Black Mirror’ actor joins as regular
Even though we still don’t know for certain whether or not “24: Legacy” is going to be officially ordered to series, the cast for this show is continuing to expand beyond Corey Hawkins, Miranda Otto, Jimmy Smits, Teddy Sears, and more.
So who is the latest addition? Sources confirm that “Black Mirror” actor Ashley Thomas is going to be a series-regular on the reboot for the franchise, and will be playing the role of Isaac Carter. He is the older brother of Hawkins’ Eric Carter, who is a military veteran who finds himself brought into the CTU after returning home. Isaac also used to date the woman who is now Eric’s wife, and there is going to be some sort of bitterness and tension there.
For the time being, we’re still not entirely sure just how successful this new iteration of the series is going to be. For the most part, we’re interested in seeing if the series can find a way to get some sort of interest and stability from even some fans out there who weren’t all that interested in watching it at the moment. There will inevitably be some who are nervous about watching it without Kiefer Sutherland in the case, and there will be an element of the show having to prove itself as a result of that.
Of course, we’ll have some more news on the revival as soon as we have it, so be sure to come back soon to read more of the latest news.
