‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 spoilers: Another (mysterious) episode title!
Who is ready to talk about titles when it comes to “Once Upon a Time“? That’s what we are here to do today courtesy of what is the upcoming 22nd installment of season 5. Is it the finale? That’s something we cannot say for sure just yet, given that this show tends to alternate between having 22 and 23 episodes in a season.
In the post on Twitter below from executive producer Adam Horowitz, you can see that the title for this particular installment, written by David H. Goodman and Andrew Chambliss, is “Only You.” Is there a significance to this title? Well, “Only You” is the name of the song that was featured in the Henry storyline a little bit earlier this season, and it has been covered quite a few times in a lot of different ways over the years.
The one bit of evidence that we can give you about this potentially not being the finale for the show is rather simple: Typically, Horowitz and fellow EP Edward Kitsis write the finales for their seasons, and we think that he also would’ve mentioned something on Twitter about it.
Regardless, it is probably fair for the final episodes of the season to fulfill a couple of different purposes. Sure, one of the priorities is going to be the show doing what it can to tie together the story of the Underworld, but the series does also have to figure out what it wants to do for the upcoming sixth season. Both are critical in their own way.
