‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Could Annalise give her child up?

On Thursday night’s all-new episode of “How to Get Away with Murder,” it feels as though we are going to get answers to a wide array of different things. At the top of all of them, though, is learning just what happened to Annalise Keating’s child. What we know at the moment is rather simple, at least in that this kid does not seem to be around in the present. This certainly leaves us with an uncomfortable feeling, thinking that it is possible something truly terrible happened to this kid.

While for the time being of course show creator Pete Nowalk is not saying one way or another, he did offer up a brief tease to TVLine that suggests that seeing what she did with Wes could convince her to at least consider giving the kid up for adoption:

“What Annalise just saw [Rose stabbing herself in the neck and bleeding out on the floor in an attempt to protect Christophe] makes anything possible, considering that was a mother acting to protect her son. Does that change Annalise’s point of view? Does that drastically change her feelings about this baby she’s about to have? That’s a possibility.”

More than anything else, the biggest thing that we can possibly hope for is to understand Annalise better, and hope that this child may be out there somewhere living a better life than they would have otherwise if they were swallowed up in the drama of Annalise’s world. Of course, this is probably a vision of the future that is too optimistic.
