‘The 100’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Show boss on following Lexa shocker

The 100 -For anyone who is excited to see more of “The 100” on the air, there’s another episode coming in just over 24 hours. With that being said, we know that in so many ways the fan base is still divided over what happened to Lexa.

To see the sort of backlash that the show is still immersed in, you don’t have to look any further than the like / dislike count on the video below. Almost two-thirds of them are dislikes, and it’s probably going to take the show some time to earn back the support of people who feel burned over the character’s death. You’re probably not going to get all of the back. We feel for many of those people since Lexa was an amazing character, but we also believe in seeing the story through since so many people worked hard on it. That is where the next episode intrigues us.

In this video, creator Jason Rothenberg explains a decision to spend some time away from Polis on the upcoming episode, and instead, you will see what he claims to be a “really cool” chess match between Kane and Pike. There could be some big surprises that unfold over the course of the hour, but you will just have to watch and find out.

One thing that is interesting to us from a programming side of this is that this will be the last episode of the show for a few weeks. Typically, showrunners view this as an opportunity to deliver something big before a hiatus, but in the case of this show, it’s going to be incredibly hard to deliver anything that generated the same widespread reaction that we just saw.
