‘Blindspot’ episode 13 preview: Will Jane’s secrets ‘bury’ her?
“Blindspot” is a show in many ways about secrets, and there have been many that Jane Doe has not even known about herself. As one would imagine, this can be rather problematic when you have someone like an inspector looking to find a mole within the FBI. John Hodgman of “The Daily Show” and many other things will be guest-starring, and by the end of the episode, he could cause problems for more than just Jaimie Alexander’s character.
“Erase Weary Youth” is the title for this next new episode, and the synopsis below offers up some other news:
“After a tip reveals there’s a mole within the FBI’s New York Office, the team must hunt for the operative while facing extreme scrutiny from Inspector Fischer (guest star John Hodgman). The team’s deepest secrets threaten to be exposed, and everyone is a potential suspect – but some, especially Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) have more to hide.”
The promo below is in many ways just a perfect extension of this, as you can see Fischer’s interrogations start to rattle Jane ever so slightly as he attempts to get all of the information that he needs. It does feel like no matter what happens in this episode, we will be looking at a different landscape on the show beyond this episode than what we had going into it, and we welcome that. The best thing that “Blindspot” can do for itself is constantly change, that way we’re not just looking at story-of-the-week plots regarding tattoos. Sooner or later, interest in those would want, and you need to move on to some other things.
