‘The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story’ episode 7 preview: OJ Simpson’s glove becomes a focus

People -To this date, the glove remains one of the most memorable moments from the OJ Simpson trial, as it is one move the prosecution can look to as one that swayed the jury towards a not guilty verdict. It’s also going to be a key component of next week’s new episode of “The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story” entitled “Conspiracy Theories.” Some of those could spawn out based on what happens with this said glove.

As if we have not spelled this out enough, the synopsis below makes it clear just what you can expect:

“Conspiracy theories start to arise around the case. The prosecution debates whether they should have O.J. Simpson (Cuba Gooding, Jr.) try on the gloves in court.”

One of the other elements of this case that is rather fascinating to us is figuring out just what is going to happen as a result of what we saw tonight with Marcia Clark. Is the public scrutiny starting to impact her judgment, or all of the other stresses being put upon her? Is Darden really the right person to be working with her? The problem here for the most part is that thanks to the fact that the prosecution lost this case, it is incredibly easy to second guess almost every little decision that they made. It’d be interesting to see just how much that would have changed based on the opinions of a handful of people, who are going to be facing more scrutiny in their own way soon.
