‘Dancing with the Stars 22’ cast: Doug Flutie, Paige VanZant, Geraldo Rivera among full list
ABC has finally confirmed the entire cast for season 22 of “Dancing with the Stars,” and while the majority of the names were leaked in advance, it was nice to see this time around that many of the rumors were true. Not only that, but it was also nice to have a couple of surprises we didn’t see coming, and by and large a cast of people we’ve at least heard of in some form. There’s really only one person we’ve never heard of, and that’s because we’re not an MMA fan.
We’ll have individual spotlights for many of these pairs over the coming days, prior to the show’s return on March 21. Therefore, be sure to come back soon for those. This is just meant to get the names out there.
Jodie Sweetin – “Fuller House” star. Paired with Keo Motsepe, who may now have a chance at advancing beyond the early stages of the contest.
Von Miller – Super Bowl MVP, defensive star for the Denver Broncos. Paired with Witney Carson.
Nyle DiMarco – Most recent winner of “America’s Next Top Model,” which recently aired on The CW for the last time. (It is coming now to VH1.) He also is the show’s second deaf contestant. Paired with Peta Murgatroyd.
Doug Flutie – Former NFL quarterback, and a guy we know for Flutie Flakes. Paired with Karina Smirnoff.
Antonio Brown – NFL wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Paired with Sharna Burgess.
Ginger Zee – Meteorologist from “Good Morning America.” Paired with Val Chmerkovskiy.
Wanya Morris – Singer, known for Boyz II Men. Paired with Lindsay Arnold.
Mischa Barton – Actress, known for “The OC.” Paired with Artem Chigvintsev.
Maria Maples – Ex of Donald Trump. Paired with Tony Dovolani.
Paige VanSant – UFC fighter. Paired with Mark Ballas.
Kim Fields – Former “Facts of Life” star / “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member. Paired with Sasha Farber, who’s getting a full-time partner again!
Geraldo Rivera – News reporter / personality, paired with Edyta Sliwinska. She’s back!!!
