‘The Bachelorette’: Caila Quinn talks possibility at ‘The Bachelor: The Women Tell All’ taping

Caila -Is it set in stone officially yet who will be the next “Bachelorette“? Not entirely, and that is why we’re not reporting anywhere here one way or another. We don’t want to jump the gun on anything.

Yet, at the same time it cannot be ignored that most of the scuttlebutt is leaning towards Caila Quinn from Ben Higgins’ season landing the gag. Typically the majority of the Bachelorettes finish in third or fourth place on the season before, and former ABC exec Paul Lee had made it clear that he wanted to see someone diverse in the role. Therefore, all signs are pointing towards her, and (of course) she is open to the gig seemingly. How would she not be? The reality here is that most of these people at least have to be okay with the idea of fame; maybe it’s not the only reason they go on “The Bachelor,” but there are so many other options out there for the publicity-shy.

Therefore, don’t be shocked that Caila said she would consider the gig in a chat with Us Weekly at the taping for the “Men Tell All” special airing tonight:

“It’s definitely something I would think about … I did fall in love with this process before … but I definitely need some time … I just don’t think that I’m that kind of person [to be The Bachelorette]. I’m just a normal person. That’s why.”

Ultimately if producers do want her for the gig, the “normal person” status probably appeals to them. It’s been years since producers hired someone who had some sort of preexisting fame for the job, since America responds more to seeing someone they can relate to on the show. With that being said, we do also get the sense that Caila would be one of the more polarizing choices out there that they could make.
