‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ episode 4 video showcases more injuries, potential evacuation

Kaoh -

Wednesday night is getting closer and closer, and to us that is a cause of great unease as a “Survivor” fan. After all, we’re getting close to see quite possibly the most devastating episode of the show medically we’ve seen in its 32-season history.

There’s a part of the promo below where it feels almost like an episode of “Code Black,” where there are multiple castaways down and in need of care. Jeff Probst says that there are three people who needed some sort of medical attention during a challenge, and the footage makes the situation look very dire. You’ve likely seen Probst proclaim in promos that there could be an evacuation, and he does so here, as well.

So why are there so many injuries taking place this season? The obvious reason for it is merely the conditions in Cambodia. This is one of the hottest seasons on record for the show, and to go along with that, it’s also one of the most humid. This sort of heat in insufferable, and some of the conditions at camp require the players to exert themselves on an extreme level. Couple that with some physically demanding challenges, and you’ve got a pretty horrible result for some of the players.

What we’re trying to say here is that we’d be shocked if the show ever goes to Cambodia again. There’s no guarantee 100% that any of these players are evacuated from the game, but even still you have to imagine that the show would want to avoid a place in the future where the heat and the environment are this big of a factor.
