‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12 spoilers: When will Meredith think about dating again?

At some point on “Grey’s Anatomy,” it had to be expecting that Meredith Grey would start to wander back into the dating pool. Derek wouldn’t want her to stay alone for the rest of her life. The real question here is just finding the right time. For the character, you have to wait long enough to be respectful, and we feel like they’ve done that thanks to the time jump and then some. To go along with this, you also want to make sure that you are being respectful at the same time to fans of the show. It’s been almost a year now, so it makes sense that this would be when the producers consider trying to get her back into the dating pool.

In terms of what to expect, here is what we can tell you right now. This storyline will take place in the March 24 installment entitled “I Am Not Waiting Anymore,” and the synopsis below definitely indicates that there are a lot of other major issues going on:

“Jackson learns about April’s pregnancy, while Alex and the team of doctors handles an hours-long triple-organ transplant surgery. Meredith considers dating again, and Andrew insists on not receiving special treatment after he and Maggie go public.”

In the end, the biggest thing that we’re hoping to see come out of this is just that Meredith figures out precisely what she does want, since we know some times it can take people time to make these sort of decisions. We just hope that the story lives up to the character development so far … oh, and it’s also nice for Jackson to finally learn the truth.
