‘The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story’ episode 6 video: Sarah Paulson front and center

Marcia -

If you are wondering whether or not Sarah Paulson is going to be in awards-show conversations for her role as Marcia Clark on “The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story,” rest assured that the episode airing on Tuesday night may be all the evidence that you need. She gives a firework of a performance through “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia,” which makes it perfectly clear the pressure that she is on across every front in this case.

The sneak peek below is not the most revealing in the world, but it does give you some insight precisely when it comes to what Clark is up against in the case. Not only does she have someone in OJ at the center of this who is a big-name celebrity and therefore subject to bias from the jury, but this bias extended to the people investigating the case. The implication is here that OJ’s celebrity status made him someone who the investigators were a little bit easier on at times, which raises the possibility that not all protocol may have been followed properly. If this turns out to ultimately be the case, it makes the entirety of all that is to happen from here on out all the more difficult.

Ultimately, this episode is going to be a big one for the prosecution, as they start to feel more than ever the sort of unbalance that they are facing in this case.
