‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 11 video: Bobbi, Mack, Hunter, and Slingshot

The midseason premiere of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” is coming your way on ABC Tuesday night, and based on the new sneak peek below, we are already willing to wager that there are quite a few reasons to watch.

The first thing that we love about this preview is that it totally justifies that potentially spin-off show with Bobbi and Hunter in a way that we had not even seen to date. The chemistry between the two is off-the-charts, and the banter they have about whether or not they secretly want superpowers is hilarious. (We can feel the side-eye that Mack wants to give them!)

From here, there are also some other really entertaining moments as we start to learn a little bit more about precisely who it is that they are hunting down: A new Inhuman, someone who is extremely dangerous and also different than any other one that we’ve seen on the show to date. Marvel fans will know her as Slingshot; while she may be a speedster, she’s a little bit different than the ones that you’ve come to see on shows like “The Flash.” Can she move around at lightning-fast speeds? Absolutely, but there’s also something else that she has going on because whenever she is done running, she leaps back to where she originally was. That’s why she was able to pin Mack so easily here.

Ultimately, think of this as just one part of the Secret Warriors recruitment process … and as a really awesome incentive to watch.
