‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 13 preview: The struggle for Lauren Cohan, Melissa McBride

twdTonight, “The Walking Dead” featured a variety of different stories, but there was one that clear moment that stands out from the rest: Learning that Maggie and Carol are both in danger now after being snagged by Negan’s people. Sure, Rick and company took out quite a few of his men, but that really didn’t have too much of an impact on what actually transpired in the closing seconds.

Now, it is going to be up to these two women to figure out how to stay alive, at least unless Rick and company can figure out where they are and save them. The show is definitely building up towards the big reveal of Negan in the flesh, and they are giving the character plenty of reasons to be unhappy right now. Just think about how many of his people have died!

There is not too much else that we know about this episode at present, but we’d still end up saying that we would be surprised if Negan himself actually turns up during it. Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been busy, after all, with “The Good Wife,” and we’d be shocked if he reveals himself at any point before we get around to the final episode or two.

What we’re really hoping for out of next week’s installment more so than anything else are some great moments for Melissa McBride in Lauren Cohan, in particular since the former hasn’t had enough awesome moments in the second half of the season so far.
