‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ rankings: Can Peter recover after Brains tribe debacle?
The great thing about the six-person tribe on “Survivor” is that it really does not take a whole lot of effort to go from the penthouse to the outhouse. Things chance quickly, and there is only so much time in the edit for you to see everything that is going on. This cultivates excitement, and there is nothing that we love in the game more than that. Also, it turns someone like Peter into an underdog after spending a good team of time as a fairly-cocky favorite.
So is there a chance for him to turn it around? We’re going to analyze that in our latest rankings, which are based on strategy, screen time, challenge ability, edit, effectiveness around camp, and also overall threat level. We know that there are teases of a medical situation coming Thursday, but we’re not going to base these on who could get injured. That’s too much of a toss-up.
5. Peter Baggenstos (last week: 1) – Before this past episode, the edit made us really think that all of the young people in this tribe were close. That doesn’t turn out to be the case. As a matter of fact, we wouldn’t be shocked if the Brains were to try and throw a challenge to get rid of them if that opportunity arise. He is a super-smart guy and a physical player, so his future likely depends on if he can figure out a way to stick around until a swap.
4. Aubry Bracco (4) – Out of the remaining players, we see the smallest amount of strategy coming from Aubry; not only that, but she doesn’t have the edit of someone we think is going to be a major factor in this game for a long time moving forward.
3. Joe Del Campo (5) – This is a nice jump up for Joe, who could someone who could get a few votes at the end of the game based on his story alone. With that being said, we’re not really getting just a whole lot of indications that he is the easiest to live with at times. He likes things done a certain way, and that could put some people off.
2. Neal Gottlieb (3) – Maybe you look at Neal’s lack of screen time as a sign he has a big story left to tell, or you look at it as a sign that he is not going to matter in a few weeks. For now, we’ll at least say that he seems to be fairly well-rounded at this game, and he’s obviously threatening enough that Peter wanted to target him.
1. Debbie Wanner (6) – Now, the flip is complete. We had admittedly written Debbie off as this sort of crazy character, but she showed some great game sense in this episode. She seemed to be the main person behind Liz’s ouster, and did it after analyzing and studying the players. This bodes well for her future.
