‘Talking Dead’ spoilers: Alanna Masterson, Ross Marquand, JB Smoove join Chris Hardwick

Last week, “Talking Dead” attempted to prove that being a “surprise guest” did not necessarily mean anything when it comes to your long-term status on the show itself. Sometimes, you can just be a surprise guest for the sake of being a surprise guest! Strange, but we’ll roll with it.

Anyway, the AMC aftershow hosted by Chris Hardwick has announced their guests for Sunday night, and we suppose it would be ironic to a certain extent if one of the actors from the show were to actually see their character go tonight after being announced. (Obviously, we don’t want to see that happen.)

Alanna Masterson – To us, Tara is one of the most underused characters on the entire series, so we are personally always down to have a little bit more of her on the show. Hopefully her appearance tonight is a good sign.

Ross Marquand – We’ve come to like Aaron a lot since he first debuted, even if he hasn’t gotten to hang out with Daryl in a while.

JB Smoove – The former “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star and one-time host of “Last Comic Standing” should bring a little bit of lightness, not that we really even need it too much since you’ve already got Hardwick on the show for a little bit more humor.

One other sad thing to remember after making it through this episode is that effectively, we’ve made it to the halfway point of the second half of the season. After tonight’s episode wraps up full, there are only four more stories left to tell…
