‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 12 preview: Andrew Lincoln’s Rick makes a speech

Rick -So what is coming up on Sunday night’s new episode of “The Walking Dead“? While we cannot say for certain how everything will play out, we do know one thing with confidence: Rick Grimes is going to be busting out some of his old-fashioned speeches to try and prove a few points.

In the sneak peek below, he specifically lays out his case for forging a relationship with the Hilltop Colony, knowing that it is the best move for his group to be prepared for what is to come with the Saviors. He knows that had Alexandria been discovered by the group sooner rather than later, it would’ve been rather likely that the group ended up being decimated. That’s not something that really anyone ultimately wants to see.

At the end of the clip, the camera does spend a heck of a long time focusing in on Morgan, who continues to look like an unhappy camper and we really cannot blame him, given that he’s a guy attempting to be peaceful in a world where it’s been revealed that such matters really are not that possible.

One other thing that we want to put out is that the irony is not lost on us that Andre Lincoln’s character is seen her talking about saviors in front of a stained-glass window. Someone may has well dress him up in robes and proclaim what he is giving to be a sermon.
