‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 12 preview: Andrew Lincoln’s Rick versus the Saviors

It was only a matter of time before we had a chance to see the Saviors make their presence felt on “The Walking Dead,” and moving into the next new episode of the show, we are setting the stage for what could be one of the biggest battles to date. Rick Grimes is getting his team ready, and of course we imagine that it is going to take some ingenuity to make sure that this particular threat is stopped.

Of course, we are still excited to see a thing or two more beyond just what is the promo, since it really doesn’t give away too much other than that there is violence ahead. (You know, the sort of thing that you see on almost EVERY episode of the show.) The great news about tonight, at least to us, was that this was an Abraham-heavy episode and we ALWAYS appreciate that. The bad news is that it was mostly a foundation hour, one meant for the most part to set up future events more so than anything else.

Also, what is bad news is that AMC did not release a synopsis in advance for what is going to be coming up. We just hope that it continues what we’d say for the most part is a great trend through season 6B of providing some interesting, compelling, and above all else fast-paced stories. This has been by and large a marked improvement over anything from the first half of the season.
