ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8, episode 14 video: Castle’s new ‘mission’ in Los Angeles

On Monday night’s new episode of “Castle,” we are going to see a very different story for our title character. After all, in order to investigate his missing time Rick is going to be heading to Los Angeles with Alexis and Hayley… and how the G.D.S. (the Greatest Detective Society) ends up becoming a part of this.

In the sneak peek below, Rick checks in to the hotel before he gets a note from the Society that he should join them at the famed Hollywood Forever Cemetery to take part in what is some sort of murder investigation. While the Society is not why he is present in the city, he of course decides to oblige and goes through with the plan. After all, it’s on the way!

Of course, the one thing we do figure is that this is not going to work out quite as Nathan Fillion’s character expects. It’s possible for one that the Society is involved already in his missing time, just as we also imagine that we’re going to end up seeing them help him. Summer Glau will be guest-starring as another stellar investigator, which should be fun for the “Firefly” reunion that it provides us. Meanwhile, we’re also going to get a chance to see Gerald McRaney (most recently of “Longmire” fame, but known for a variety of different things) as the head of the society.

While there’s still a whole lot of mystery surrounding this episode, we’re excited for the most part to see how it all unfolds. We’ll have some other scoop on the show soon!
