‘Gotham’ season 2, episode 13 video: What is Hugo Strange up to now?

We’ve already had a chance to meet Hugo Strange on “Gotham” season 2, and based on what we’ve seen from him so far, BD Wong is doing as awesome a job as we hoped and then some. He’s got the creepiness of the character down, but also seems to understand some of his intellect, as well. He’s a tough character to nail, mostly because he’s not evil in the true sense. He genuinely believes his actions to be just, and as a result of that is a very complicated figure.

In the sneak peek below, you get a further sense as to some of his motives. He wants to ensure that he is able to use some of Victor Fries’ research, and with that in mind, he is rather grateful to hear that the man’s wife could be transferred over to the Arkham medical wing. This would ensure him more access, and eventually Victor would probably try to break her out.

Could Strange at some point even aid Victor in his research? We certainly think that this could be possible, mostly because he wants things for his own end, and probably doesn’t care who gets hurt in the process. By and large, this is why this character is fascinating, and why we’re enjoying seeing so much of him.
