‘The 100’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Moving past Alycia Debnam-Carey shocker
Tonight’s all-new episode of “The 100” was one that will take a long time for many people out there to get over, and for good reason given that we lost one of the show’s most-beloved characters.
For those who missed what Jason Rothenberg had to say about the events tonight, we imagine that one of the hardest things about is that we don’t think that he or the writers wanted to kill off Lexa. The problem is that they didn’t shore up Alycia Debnam-Carey, and they had no real way of knowing so long ago that she would be so popular. “Fear the Walking Dead” has her as a regular, and there was only so much time she could devote to this show. Could they have just written her out and not shown her for a while? Maybe, but then you have to explain that, and that’s certainly challenging in its own way.
“Terms and Consequences” is the title for the next new episode of the show, and based on both the promo and the synopsis below, it really doesn’t look like the show will have much time to slow down and assess things:
“Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) is searching for a peaceful way to handle things but soon realizes he may be forced to resort to drastic measures. Meanwhile, Pike (guest star Michael Beach, “Sons of Anarchy”) suspects that there may be a leak within the walls of Arkadia. Lastly, Raven (Lindsey Morgan) has a plan and reaches out to Jasper (Devon Bostick) for help.”

Enjoyed the show, but Clexa was a highlight. Not likely I’ll go back to it, maybe I’ve been spoiled with Clexa but the other characters just don’t hold my interest. Problem for producer/writers for building this up and then leave only plot development in its place. Its the relationships we connect with.

Typical white male BS. Reunification of the heterosexual couple at all cost — even the integrity of the show.

I’ve officially stopped watching the 100….I don’t give a damn how busy Alycia was! They could’ve done ANYTHING but that….such great chemistry put to an tragic end. I can’t.
