‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Official news on ‘Trajectory’ episode

While the next new episode of “The Flash” may not be airing on The CW until Tuesday, March 22, isn’t it nice to have a little more information in advance? We like to think so, which is why we’re rather grateful that the network has just unleashed some of their first official details on “Trajectory” with us now.

The only unfortunate news here is that the majority of these said details are ones that you may have seen already:

“Deciding to blow off some steam, Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team head out for a night on the town only to encounter an unexpected speedster who is up to no good. Iris (Candice Patton) is challenged by an assignment from her new boss (guest star Tone Bell), and is surprised when friction turns to flirtation.”

Speaking of flirtation, is it possible that Cisco could really be into her? That’s not exactly something that we know fur sure, but we at least know that he has a few funny one-liners on the subject over the course of the episode. Think of it as something similar to him and Lisa Snart, who has seemingly vanished from the CW – DC universe as of late with her brother Leonard over on “Legends of Tomorrow.”

As for Iris’ new potential love interest, let’s just hope that it is someone who doesn’t drive a wedge permanently between her and Barry as he really tries to get her to go after The Flash in ways that she has not to date.
