‘The Amazing Race 28’ episode 4 video: Tyler Oakley, Korey Kuhl commentate Blair, Brodie’s cuddle session

There is a new episode of “The Amazing Race” coming on Friday night, and based further on what we are seeing right now, the show’s producers really want you to think that there could be something romantic on the horizon for Blair Fowler and Brodie Smith. How else do you explain them featuring it in almost every promo ever?

Below, you get a rather-hilarious new sneak peek all about the subject, with the main reason for the humor being Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl’s commentary on what’s going on. There are times when being self-aware about the cameras and your fame can be a little worrisome for reality TV, but we’ve really liked so far how the two have approached the show. We’ve always got the sense that they know they’re on TV, but they’ve never come across as thirsty or desperate to have the cameras fixated on them. They’ve been natural and funny so far through this season, which may come as a result of the experience that they’ve already had with fame going into this.

As for whether or not there’s something really there between Blair and Brodie, we’re not exactly buying what the show’s selling on this being a big thing. Blair is, after all, racing with her father Scott, and do you really think he wants to be a third wheel to a race relationship? Also, it’s not exactly like the two are going to have a whole lot of time to spend together over the course of the remainder of the race unless the two teams just decide to race in tandem. (If that happens, we will write the article equivalent of our head pounding against a wall repeatedly.)
