ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 5, episode 13 video: The Secret Service has a big secret…

There’s a part of us that really wants to be excited about the latest “Scandal” sneak peek that we’re sharing below, but at the same time there’s also another equal part of us that just wants to groan about it. After all, isn’t there anything that the show could have done with the Secret Service that did not include them partying hard to the point where one of their female companions died? We’ve heard enough similar stories about this in the present.

Nonetheless, this is precisely where we are going into the next new episode airing on March 10, as Olivia Pope is working with the White House in some capacity for the first time in a long time. Granted, this is a very different landscape than the one that she worked around in the past; plus, it’s not exactly like Fitz called her for help. It was actually Abby.

Despite her lengthy history with the President, the thing that these folks in the Secret Service have going for them is primarily the fact that Olivia can compartmentalize better than anyone, something that Mellie Grant clearly commented on during this past episode of the show. She’s tremendous at separating things, so she may be able to ensure that there are no problems even if she continues to have a rather mighty problem with Fitz.

Of course, we’re going to be presenting some further updates all about “Scandal” over the course of the weeks ahead. For now, the biggest advice that we can offer up is “stay tuned,” since we’ll also have quite the epic preview for what is going to be coming up later in the season!
