‘Dancing with the Stars 22’ spoilers: Jodie Sweetin of ‘Fuller House’ partnered with Keo Motsepe

DWTS -While this is a story that has been more or less reported in some form over the past several weeks, isn’t it nice to just have it come out and be official?

Today on “Good Morning America,” it was confirmed that none other than Jodie Sweetin, currently a cast member of “Fuller House,” is going to be joining ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” as a competitor on the upcoming season of the show. Not only that, but she will be partnered with Keo Motsepe, who is featured in the promo art for the new season above.

It seems like this is really perfect casting all the way around here. For “Dancing with the Stars,” it’s a golden opportunity to get someone from “Fuller House” mere weeks after the show’s big premiere on Netflix, and for Sweetin, it’s a nice bit of press before she returns for the just announced second season of the show, and a chance for her to get more of a personal platform out there rather than just being Stephanie Tanner all over again.

The biggest winner of all here may be Keo. Through most of his time on the show he’s been known as the pro dancer who hasn’t really had many opportunities. He’s been eliminated early every season that he’s been a part of, but now he gets to work with someone who is reasonably popular, and also probably will work hard to learn some of the moves.

Sweetin is not the first “Fuller House” star to appear on the show, as Candace Cameron Bure did so previously.
