‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 17 preview: Tension rises for Callie, Brandon in ‘Sixteen’

There is another new episode of “The Fosters” coming up on Freeform next week, and it’s one that will feature tension aplenty for Callie and Brandon. After all, just because the two have new relationships doesn’t mean that those feelings are gone. Don’t you think that their significant others are going to be feeling a little wary that they are still spending so much time together?

The promo below features some major drama coming down as AJ in particular is starting to feel uncomfortable with Brandon’s presence. You can take a look at the synopsis below for some other updates in terms of what you can expect:

“Jesus is upset after his plans for a low key birthday are supplanted by Mariana, who plans a huge dance party instead. Jude is excited by the prospect of a weekend visit with Connor. Meanwhile, Callie and Brandon strike a truce by agreeing not to bring their new respective significant others home or to family functions.”

We don’t want to completely overshadow Jesus’ birthday party here, mostly because he’s had a pretty great season so far in terms of his storyline and he really needs some sort of a victory at this point. This would be a really great opportunity for him to have a little bit of a break … at least in theory. Whether or not he actually gets one is an entirely different story. Just be sure to stay tuned, since we’ll have some other assorted teases all about this episode as we get closer to it coming on the air.
