NBC’s ‘The Voice’ video: Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera read Blake Shelton tweets
Monday night marks the midseason premiere of “The Voice,” and there are going to be a wide array of fun opportunities to see contestants come out and create instant moments for themselves. While “American Idol” may be the more nostalgic series at the moment, we feel like NBC now has the more culturally-important talent show of the two. Sure, its singers often fail to become stars, but at least you’ve got tremendously entertaining personalities in Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and Pharrell Williams all on board here.
In the video below, you can see / hear three of them take part in what seems to be a rather fun new tradition: Reading some tweets from the country singer. Christina and Adam especially get into the fun here, using at least some sort of country drawl while reading some ramblings about weather and music.
One other thing that we’re somewhat curious about with this video is the timing of it all. Are we going to be going back to having a blonde Adam during the battle / knockout rounds? We wonder since he has that look here, and he does not have it during the Blind Auditions. We will say that blonde Adam is significantly better than bald Adam any day of the week when we’re counting down his favorite looks.
Meanwhile, Blake has really maintained a similar hairstyle for the vast majority of the series. We’ll have to wait and see if that lasts. (Odds are high.)
