‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9: Jim Parsons not too concerned over eventual end

Big Bang Theory -All good things must come to an end, but the good news for “The Big Bang Theory” is that we may still be a reasonable amount of time before we get to a point where this happens. The show recently celebrated its 200th episode, and of course around that time we start to think a little more about potential endings. However, at the same time we’ve got a renewal for a tenth season already in the books, and there is no guarantee that this will be the last year of the show.

Based on what star Jim Parsons told Variety recently, he is prepared for a long run on the show still provided that there remains some interesting stories and developments for the characters:

“I am painfully aware that if things keep going the way they’re going – and by that I mean as a cast we have a good time together, which I think we’ll manage, but more importantly the stories are still so enjoyable to be a part of and the writers are still so enthusiastic about character and plot points – if that just continues on through the end, I predict I will feel really good about wherever we wrap it up.”

Our feeling is that it is better for the show to end things before it starts to go into the ground, but there could be room for at least one more season beyond the tenth. Season 11 would more than likely push the show beyond 250 episodes, it’d give Howard and Bernadette time to enjoy being parents, and if it were to end then, we’d be satisfied.
