‘Quantico’ spoilers: Priyanka Chopra front and center in Oscars promo

The winter premiere of “Quantico” is going to be coming your way in just one week’s time, and based on the video below, ABC is planning big things when it comes to the Oscar commercial plans.

The unfortunate thing that we have to mention at the moment is that the network is using almost a two-prong approach when it comes to hyping the show up. Why not just give us everything and then some at once? We think that personally, this could have been a cooler / smarter plan than what they ultimately decided to do. Instead, the promo below features none other than Priyanka Chopra’s Alex Parrish and little else, claiming that there will be a further tease coming up a little bit later in the show. It’s nice to see Chopra and the show getting this much play, but we’d be remiss if we were to say that we are completely satisfied by this alone.

We’ll have an update and some other details when the second teaser for the remaining episodes comes up online.

Update: You can see the full promo below, which we have to say is certainly cool from a visual standpoint. However, at the same exact time we would almost certainly understand there bieng some disappointment that there is no new footage in here. It’s almost designed more as a way to convince new viewers to watch than something that really appeals at all to people who are already checking it out and enjoying what they’re seeing on a weekly basis. Maybe there will be more time for that later.
