‘Game of Thrones’ season 6: Sophie Turner constantly worried over Sansa’s potential death
If there is one thing that almost any fan of “Game of Thrones” can say about this show, it is this: Almost every actor should be on edge about their character’s fate. This is a series that cut off Ned Stark’s head near the end of season 1, took from us Robb and Catelyn Stark during the Red Wedding, and poisoned Joffrey not long after his own wedding. Maybe Jon Snow somehow is revived following the end of season 5, but if he doesn’t you can certainly add him to the list of stunners.
Of course, having all of these character-deaths happen will have a tendency to make almost everyone on edge. For some more news when it comes to that, Sophie Turner had the following to say on E!’s red-carpet pre-show while discussing going through the scripts every year:
“They kill all of us off, so I check at the end of every [episode], I’m flicking through, I’m like death, death death – I’m good for this season.”
While we certainly do not want to see Sansa Stark going anywhere in the near future, the reality here is probably that she would be fine even if she was to. After all, the actress has a big role coming up as Jean Grey in an “X-Men” movie, and we imagine that this will lead to even more big things coming up beyond that. There are potentially as many as two more seasons of “Game of Thrones” beyond this one, and that gives us quite a bit to be looking forward to.
