Is ‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 16 new tonight? More on ‘Targets,’ final episodes
Tonight marks the Academy Awards on ABC, and while that may be some tremendous news for cinema buffs, this is hardly wonderful news for “The Good Wife.” After all, there is no new episode airing on CBS tonight, and you’re going to have to wait all the way until March 6 to see everything that is going to be coming up next with some of our main characters.
When it comes to story scoop, the big news item at the moment is the status of Peter Florrick. Ruth was right about him being targeted, and the major test now is whether or not we could see some sort of trouble for him that has him finish the series behind bars. The big standout for the show’s return will be “Glee” alum Matthew Morrison, who is playing the role of ruthless U.S. Attorney Connor Fox.
When looking at the rest of the schedule for the series, the Futon Critic claims that the following dates are ultimately the ones to watch: March 20, March 27, April 10, April 17, April 24, May 1, and May 8. While that is not a confirmed schedule for the rest of the series, it would make sense if this turns out to be accurate. The network does like to air a run of new episodes throughout April and early May, and we assume that April 3 will be preempted due to the Academy of Country Music Awards.
Of course, our advice is to remain on the lookout, given that we’ll have some other updates when it comes to “The Good Wife” as they come out.
