‘Black Sails’ season 3, episode 6 preview: Teach vs. Flint and so much more
There is a new episode of “Black Sails” coming up in a matter of hours, we really cannot stress enough how important this one will be. Earlier this season, we saw a struggle for survival play out thanks to Flint and company being in the throws of a tempest. Since that time, we’ve seen the story slant a little more political as the character needed to turn more to manipulation to attempt to unify against Spain.
On tonight’s episode, we could see perhaps more swashbuckling than we have seen on the series in some time, in particular when it comes to an epic duel between Flint and Teach. We cannot imagine the story of Blackbeard ending so soon on this show, so the writers are going to have to get creative if this does not end in death.
The promo below certainly hypes us this duel and then some, while the sneak peek focuses a little bit more on Flint pressuring Vane to uphold his end of the bargain, something that he does not seem to be entirely keen on doing at the moment. Why would he? He definitely does not feel any motivation to do so now, since he feels like times have changed and with circumstances being what they are now, the incentive to help is no longer there.
Take a look at the episode’s synopsis below for more details:
“Flint challenges Teach over the future of piracy. Rogers makes an arrest. Rackham finds new purpose. Madi comes to Silver’s aid.”
