‘Dancing with the Stars 22’ spoilers: Kim Fields of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ ‘Facts of Life’ may appear

Typically, “Dancing with the Stars” producers love to seek out classic sitcom stars and also reality TV personalities for their seasons. In Kim Fields, they could very well have both at the same time.

As first reported by “Entertainment Tonight,” the former “Facts of Life” star and current cast member on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is going to be one of many contestants appearing on this upcoming season, premiering on March 21. As previously reported, the full cast will be confirmed on “Good Morning America” March 8 (or at least most of them; we wouldn’t be shocked if the put on Ben Higgins from “The Bachelor” as a last-minute addition, even if we haven’t heard any rumors about him appearing so far).

Fields is far from the first star of the “Atlanta” show to be appearing on “Dancing with the Stars,” as NeNe Leakes and former cast member Kim Zolciak have also appeared in recent years. Meanwhile, we’ve seen Lisa Vanderpump in the ballroom previously, and the same goes for Lisa Rinna, who was on the show long before she joined the Bravo series. We’re not entirely sure what sort of moves Fields has, but we do think that her sitcom history will make her rather popular with some of the show’s older viewers. We’ve also found her rather likable on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” especially since she’s tried to steer clear of causing drama with some of her co-stars … even if that is often encouraged.

We wouldn’t be surprised if there is at least one other sitcom star on the cast. For example, Jodie Sweetin is a name we’ve heard thrown around quite a bit as of late.
