‘Switched at Birth’ season 5 spoilers: ‘Vampire Diaries’ alum scores complicated role
The fifth season of “Switched at Birth” is going to be coming up at some point later this year, and while some of the storyline is still reasonably mysterious, we are glad to at least have at least one new name to add to the cast of recurring players
According to a report from TVLine, former “Vampire Diaries” guest star Tristin Mays (Sarah Nelson) is going to be playing the part of Ally on the Freeform drama. Unfortunately, there’s not too much that is really known beyond that, other than that she is a college student, and there is some sort of mysterious connection out there between her and some of the characters we’ve already come to know very well.
To us, one of the main questions of the new season is going to be how we’re going to see Bay and Daphne get involved in the standard world of the show once more after spending so much time overseas in China. They have a real challenge of trying to get acclimated once more, and also seeing what is going to lie ahead for them in their lives.
For the time being, all we can say is to stay tuned: We will have so much more in the way of information on this show the moment that it becomes available. We just imagine that things are going to be complicated and then some. After all, they always have a tendency to be this way on this series.
