‘Legends of Tomorrow’ reaction: Could we see Connor Hawke again?
On Thursday night’s new episode of “Legends of Tomorrow,” we had a chance to see Connor Hawke for the first time as the Green Arrow in Star City 2046. Not only that, but there was a pretty significant twist in here as well: He is the son of John Diggle! Who doesn’t love the chance to see a twist where the character is not the son of Oliver Queen?
As much fun as it was to see Connor in action, there is unfortunately a downside to this, as well: This version of Star City will not actually be the future of the city in the event that the Legends succeed in their quest. With that in mind, it is certainly possible that we could see a future that doesn’t include Hawke at all … but the actor who plays the part in Joseph David-Jones would definitely be happy to do more on the show.
Speaking in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, David-Jones talked about the possibility that he could be on the show for a second season, given that there are plans to have a rotating panel of characters from one season to the next:
“I think there is a strong possibility. I’m talking to the writers about what they plan on doing as far as bringing me back as potentially a series regular or recurring for the show. Nothing has been decided. It’s all so up in the air, but I know they do plan on cycling different heroes onto the ship, so we’ll have to see. I hope this isn’t the last time we’ll see Connor Hawke.”
