‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 12 preview: Ellen Pompeo’s Meredith back in the spotlight

Meredith -If you’re in Canada and you saw tonight’s “Grey’s Anatomy” episode, then you may know already just how surprising Thursday night’s new episode was. This was a very big exploration into April and Jackson’s relationship, and there were a few things that happened by the time we got to the end that will shape the course of almost everything for quite a while still to come.

So where are we going as we start to move into “My Next Life,” airing in one week’s time? Think of this as a story that will be all about Meredith Grey’s past coming back into the present … which to us should be interesting given how much that it touches on nostalgia. Also, Ellen Pompeo is going to have more of an opportunity to step into the spotlight after being a little bit in the backseat for most of tonight’s installment; the concept of this makes us smile.

Take a look at the synopsis below for some other news in regards to what to expect:

“A patient from Meredith’s very first surgery as an Intern is readmitted to Grey Sloan Memorial with a new aneurysm, and Amelia takes her case. Meanwhile, Maggie suspects that Richard knows about her relationship with Andrew, and Arizona debates dating again.”

Let’s just hope that Arizona finds some happiness at some point very soon, mostly because this is not exactly something that we’ve seen from many other characters as of late. Too soon?
