OJ Simpson reportedly not thrilled with ‘American Crime Story’ retelling of case

OJ Simpson -At the moment “The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story” is one of the most-popular series airing on TV, but one person in particular is making it clear that they are not altogether thrilled with the portrayal: Simpson himself. He is currently imprisoned at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada ever since an armed robbery conviction in 2008, but speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in an interview, former prison guard Jeffrey Felix had the following to say:

“[O.J.] knows he is taller. He knows he is better looking. He has a bigger head. He is more muscular … He is unhappy with the show because it is kind of making it seem like he is totally guilty.”

Felix heard of this from some other contacts he has at the facility, and has not spoken directly with OJ about the FX show. Meanwhile, Simpson himself has not seen it, which is what makes it somewhat interesting that he can cross-compare himself and Cuba Gooding Jr. in such a way. (Then again, he’s got plenty of time on his hands to think about it.)

Simpson has not given an interview on the subject of the show, and since it is possible that he could be paroled in the future, Felix claims that the former football star may not be inclined to speak out and do anything to jeopardize that. He could do interviews from prison if he wanted to, but has not been inclined to accept one.

We will disagree somewhat with OJ after seeing the show ourselves when it comes to his guilt: While they have showed some scenes that make him appear like a murderer, they have also showed him proclaiming innocence and never placed him at the scene of the crime.
